Job Description:

Applicants should ideally be graduates (preferably in law) with prior paralegal experience. You should demonstrate excellent client-care skills, strong communication, and an adaptable approach within a busy team environment. Confidence with modern IT systems and an eagerness to learn new technologies will be essential, as our work is supported by innovative digital processes.

Principal Duties:

You will support solicitors within our personal and business immigration team based in the London office. Duties will develop as you gain experience, but will typically include:

• Drafting letters, file notes, telephone notes, and general correspondence
• Liaising with courts, counsel, HR departments and other third parties
• Drafting forms and representations to the Home Office
• Conducting initial ID checks for clients
• Updating clients on case progress
• Attending meetings with solicitors and taking detailed notes
• Assisting with file management, compliance and diary coordination
• Opening new matters and maintaining case files
• Scanning and uploading documents to our case management system
• Liaising with the accounts team to process payments and assist with interim billing
• Closing and archiving completed files
• Providing wider office support as required
