Background
Sarah is a Scottish qualified solicitor, having completed her LLB in Law and Spanish at the University of Edinburgh. She has worked as a solicitor in the field of immigration law as well as equality and human rights law since 2013. She also represented victims of the infected blood scandal at the Scottish public inquiry. She previously became accredited as a Supervising Senior Caseworker under the Law Society’s Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme.
She has worked in private practice in Scotland and England as well as for an anti-trafficking legal charity and in the public sector. She has experience across the field of immigration and nationality, from working on complex asylum and trafficking cases including unaccompanied minors to preparing applications for entry clearance and leave to remain under the Immigration Rules. She has appeared in appeals to both the First-tier Tribunal and the Upper Tribunal of the Immigration and Asylum Chamber. Sarah works as a Solicitor assisting clients with all aspects of personal immigration.
