Ian Hamilton

Background

Ian completed his law degree at The Nottingham Trent University in 1999 and then worked for the Legal Services Commission (now the Legal Aid Agency) until 2002. He then joined the Royal Air Force as an Operations Officer and served for over 20 years, all around the world, and in a variety of roles including: Support to Operations; Strategic Planning; Crisis Management; Disaster Response, Humanitarian Aid; Diplomacy; Training; and Organisational Learning and Knowledge Management. Transitioning from the Military in 2023, he spent 18 months as a Senior Project Manager at University College London before joining OTB Legal.

Areas of Expertise

Ian specialises in Sponsor Licence applications, and Skilled Worker applications, focussing on all aspects of the maintenance, reporting, and smooth operation of the Sponsor Management System on behalf of OTB’s clients. He is also using his extensive Leadership, Planning, and Project Management skills to grow OTB’s foothold from our London office, whilst also on the SQE route to qualification as a Solicitor.
