Hamilton

Background

Ian completed his law degree at The Nottingham Trent University in 1999 and then worked for the Legal Services Commission (now the Legal Aid Agency) until 2002. He then joined the Royal Air Force as an Operations specialist and served for over 20 years all around the world, and in a variety of roles including: Support to Operations; Strategic Planning; Crisis Management; Disaster Response, Humanitarian Aid; Diplomacy; Training (including support to Ukraine); and Organisational Learning.

Areas of Expertise

Transitioning from the Military in 2023, he spent 18 months as a senior Project manager at University College London before joining OTB Legal. In addition to working as an Immigration Advisor in the Business Immigration Team, he is also using his detailed programme, project, risk, and change management experience to help grow the new London office whilst also qualifying as a Solicitor via the SQE route to professional qualification.
