Background

Lisa is a paralegal specialising in immigration law. With a robust legal education from Queen's University Belfast, Lisa graduated with a 2:1, demonstrating strong proficiency across various subjects. During her law degree she explored her passion for immigration law and made this the focus of her research project.~

Before joining OTB Legal, Lisa honed her practical legal skills as a conveyancing assistant. This role enhanced her legal acumen and developed her interpersonal skills, which are critical for navigating complex client interactions and fostering collaborative relationships within the team. Lisa's diverse professional background also includes roles as a supply teaching assistant and activity leader, where she demonstrated exceptional adaptability and leadership.

As a Student Ambassador and active member of various societies at Queen's University Belfast, Lisa showcased her commitment to the legal community and her passion for social justice. Her involvement in Lawyers Without Borders and the South Asian Students' Society highlighted her dedication to advocacy and her ability to engage with and support diverse communities. Lisa's multilingual proficiency in English and Malayalam enables her to connect with a broader range of clients, ensuring their voices are heard, and their legal needs are met with empathy and expertise.
