In 2012, the Home Office introduced a minimum income requirement for spouse visas. In order to meet this requirement, applicants are required to provide documents in the precise format as specified by the Home Office or risk refusal.
Since the changes were brought into force, there has been a noticeable increase in the refusal of these applications.
