Background
Callam joined OTB Legal in December 2021 as a paralegal before qualifying as a solicitor in June 2025. He works in the personal immigration team and has built extensive experience across a range of personal immigration and nationality applications.
Areas of Expertise
Callam has specialist knowledge of family-based applications under Appendix FM, including on the partner, parent and child dependant routes. He also has experience representing clients applying on the private life route, the long residence route, the UK ancestry route, as victims of domestic abuse, the EU Settlement Scheme and with appeals to the First-tier Tribunal.
Callam is also a nationality specialist and advises clients on applications to naturalise as a British citizen, as well as more complex claims relying on UK ancestry, for example under section 4L of the British Nationality Act.
